My purchase isn't showing on a new device

Make sure the new device is signed in with the same Apple ID you purchased with, then use “Restore purchases” in Writely's settings. Still stuck? Send us a message above.

A character looks wrong or is missing

Every letter comes from your own handwriting, so odd-looking ones can simply be redrawn in the app. If something can't be displayed at all, tell us. We want to know.

How do I get my pages into GoodNotes?

Export as PDF, then use the iOS share sheet to open the file in GoodNotes, or import it from within GoodNotes.

Which iOS version do I need?

The exact requirement is always listed on Writely's App Store page under “Compatibility”.

Subscription & payments

Writely subscriptions are billed and managed entirely by Apple. We never see or store your payment details. The fastest way to manage them is directly through Apple:

Cancelling stops the next renewal; your subscription keeps running until the end of the paid period. More in the subscription terms.

Delete your data

Your handwriting lives in the app on your device. Support conversations live in our inbox. You can remove both: delete the app for local data, and send us a deletion request for anything you've mailed us. We confirm within 30 days.
